About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and analytical Expansion and Growth Strategist to lead DineMates' growth initiatives from our Amsterdam headquarters. You will play a critical role in identifying new market opportunities, developing expansion strategies, and driving the company's global growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent market research and business development skills to help scale our operations beyond Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and evaluate potential new markets for DineMates.
- Develop strategic plans for entering and succeeding in new geographies while supporting operations in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
- Identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and partnerships, to ensure alignment with growth strategies.
- Build relationships with local stakeholders, including partners, government bodies, and investors, in target markets.
- Track and analyze growth metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform strategies.
- Represent DineMates at international events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand visibility and establish connections.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or expansion roles within a startup or fast-growing company.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Familiarity with the restaurant, hospitality, or tech industries is highly desirable.
Experience working in international markets, particularly in Europe, is a plus.
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel internationally when needed.
